Our Ultrasound Training Center provides an invaluable service for aspiring Sonographers who have completed their academic and internship requirements but have yet to obtain their state license. I supervise the breast, OB, and general ultrasound departments, and through this role, I’ve seen firsthand how critical continuous practice is in maintaining and refining scanning skills. We understand the significant challenge many face: the crucial period between graduation and licensure often leads to a decline in practical skills due to a lack of hands-on experience. This “skill decay” can severely impact confidence and job prospects.
